Ok so I was just in the process of changing my front turn signals on my 92 400 when I noticed my cornering lights dont come on when I turn the turn signal on....

What can the issue be? I even changed the bulbs to make sure they weren't bad. Still didnt work.


Any ideas?

 

Did you check to see if they have 12volts going to them with the blinker on?

Also does your blinkers blink fast? Faster than normal???

 

They are plugged in if that's what you mean by the 12v.

And yes they were blinking fast before i changed my actual turn signal like i said in my original. But after changing them they stopped and were back to normal.

 

Checked the fuses?

What kind of bulb do we have on 92-94 corner lights?

 

As far as I know they're 1156 bulbs

Just to double check, your headlights are on while you're doing this right? If I remember correctly the cornering lights won't turn on unless the headlights are on.

 

Yes my headlights are on. And I just went out and double checked now the weird thing is ONLY the left side works...

As I said in my original post I found this out because I was changing my turn signal in my right headlight, well I changed the bulb, and it still doesnt work!?!?! So my right headlight turn signal doesnt work nor does my right cornering light?

Well, yeah, I was planning on doing that but why would I do that project if my cornering lights dont even work in the first place lol

I guess it could eliminate the problem but if i go ahead and do it and they dont work then im in even more of a hole!
