on my sc300, the 80mph-120mph lights were out...it wasnt dark..but it was a bit darker than the rest

last night after 2 weeks of having the car and this weekend putting 1800 miles on it, that got fixed..by itself..

i wish my climate control lights fixed themselves....sigh

just wanted to share

Ryan,

Again, there is a thread about these lights and how to fix them the 'easy' way and the replacement. Do a search next time.

The old thread will say, "I went to dealer, left with disgust over price of new cluster, shop monkey ran me down, told me to SMACK that cluster while the car lights are on, or hit a big bump." Wah Lah...the lights reconnect and work for a long time.

ryan, as pcmw said, just SMACK it! lol it worked for me.
but if it doesn't work, you can just replace the bulbs. You need to take out the whole cluster and replace the bulb from the back.
I think it was like $10/each bulb from my lex dealer but I'm sure you can get cheaper from Toyota.

How's your needles?

you wanna know something stranger? On the digital cluster on the Soarer, when you pass your hand over the left or right bottom corner the cluster goes crazy! you have to shut off and then turn on car to reset it.

Now that is a sticky situation!

you should see how hard it is to find a turn signal base for it....

I ended up gettina one from a Camry 1992, but it doesn't have the bend so i'm going to see how i'm going to put the plug in....
