Default 4" downpipe or 3" downpipe on a BW s366

I am having a hard time figuring what size downpipe and what material either stainless or mild steel. On ebay they have a 4 inch downpipe and midpipe for supra which is only 280 bucks shipped or I can buy the bends and pipe to make a mild steel one. The bad thing about the ebay downpipe and midpipe is it doesn't have a flex pipe. Don't know if that makes a big deal or not. I already brought the special vband for the BW. Should I get a reducer from the 4 inch to a 3 inch downpipe? I am wondering if you can physically put a 4 inch downpipe in with a cxracing manifold. Would I need to get the manifold modified to fit the 4 inch downpipe? It is already modified to fit a s366 due to the #1 runner hitting the compressor housing. If anyone has this setup on there SC 2jzge please chime in.

The s366 has a 3in vband on it, you would have to put a 3 to 4in reducer on it as for which size you want depends on your power goals. In my personal opinion the more exhaust flow the better on a turbo charged csr turbos love to be able to flow. Also the downpipe should fit with the manifold just have to make it clear with the dump tube on there but nothing a little adjusting can't fix.

mine has a 4.21 inch borg warner specific v band for the exhaust. I have a t4 .91 a/r housing. So either way i will have to get a special size v band welded on to the downpipe. Since borg warner makes turbo for tractor and other engines you can get the flange and v band clamp from a tractor parts store as its made for a John Deere tractor.

I have a 4" dp which i think you should get as well. Its easier to make power.

Pump gas on Tt Ecu mod with 550cc injectors Tt hg arp studs. I dunno how much Hp I will get but whatever comes in that package I wouldn't mind. Just want the car running sooner than later. As long as I have room to grow. I think I'm going for the 4 inch. I will be putting the manifold on to see how much modification I have to do to fit the turbo on with the dizzy and 4 inch.

So you didn't need to clock the turbo. Will you be able to put a filter on the turbo with the dizzy? What downpipe are you using?

s366 uses a marmon flange aka john deere flange its not actually a true V band.

You can either buy the flange and have it flare to a 4" since you are using a 4"dp and then weld it to your DP or

You can have your exhaust housing machined to a 3.5" and just buy a 3.5" v band flange with the clamp and just have it flared and welded to your 4"dp.

The first option is the cheaper!
