Ok, so I have a black sc. I wanted to debadge the sc400 and lexus from the trunk and leave the center L badge, but I dont wanna go through filling the wholes the badges leave and getting a respray. So I was thinking about plastidipping those two emblems, and leaving the center L in the original chrome finish, since the black plastidip will kinda blend in with the paint. Does that sound funky to you? Might do this later and post pics, but for now give me your opinions guys.
Thanks.
Sorry guys, either later tonight around midnight, or tomorrow night.
Car is dirty so I wanna wash it, but if I get too lazy I'll just go for it.
Sounds good, you've really sparked our curiousity now? I think it might look pretty good, but if not...you could always restore back to the original condition?

So I did it and it came out horrible, too embarassed to post pics lol.
One thing so you guys know, dont use plastidip when its cold! At first it was room temp so it was fine, but this 30degree weather soon got to it and the dip started getting thickkk. So it would bubble up and clump together.
All in all, it looked bad so I just decided to stay witb all chrome emblems. Although in the pic above it looks pretty good!
