SC300 fender side markers?
What years/packages received the side marker lights in the middle of the fender? I've not seen another SC with them. the ones on my car are clearly a factory job (mounting holes stamped into fender), and the VINs on the fenders match the car.

This is really effing with me, because I can find no documentation of fender side markers, and yet there they are. I mean, this is the most stock Lexus SC300 like ever. I can't imagine that the one mod this car received over the last 20 years was professionally stamped and painted mounting for side markers.
Gonna get some pics in a few hours, just in case nobody else comes up with anything.

Hey punk I added turn signals blinkers on my fenders! Looks great I must say! How's adding turn signals ricer? then again I heard it all, even ppl saying adding mods to an "automatic car" is ricer I even read on some forum some members bashing eachother that having a sunroof is ricer cmon really ? that word gets tossed around so much the past 10 years

Pics will determine ricerness. But to be honest its not a terrible idea when executed correctly like on z4 and z3. But aftermarket additions hardly ever look good.

It is possible that this car was imported from a country that did not require a reflector in the rear of the vehicle and that these were added in order to meet the requirements in place by the US. If you look at JDM taillights, they do not have the reflective portion in the outboard corners, so instead of replacing taillights, some shops just add these "sidemarkers" to allow the vehicle to legally drive on US roads. Just a thought.
