How do u guys wash your cars in this freezing cold weather?? I normally wash my car every week but now it's like once every 3 weeks or so. guess i'll jus have to wait for a sunny day to get the job done.

Default ICE POP

auto brushless is best, just dry it when you get out, drive home wet youll have ice stuck on your trunk and side panels. its a pain to get off..

make sure there is undercarrage wash as well, you don't want the road salt for snow rusting out your underbody.

The other day I drove mine to the auto brushless place, i came out notice the brake was not functioning properly and then after a little bit time, i test drove in a mall next to it, and became normal, i suspect it was the water that got into the disc brake... does any of you experience this problem?

Thumbs up the way I do it

I wash my car with gloves that keep me warm and then on top of that, I wear a glove that I wash dishes with and TAPE the opening with a strong tape that won't leak water into my nice and warm gloves....

yup, right after a wash, brakes may feel funny... due to the water like you said.

good thing to do is the pump the brakes a few times and becareful where you drive immediantly after.

the thing is, if you are a real detail freak, even those brushless washes are no good.

if ya gonna do something, do it right: wash the car yourself; use the right equipment - car soap (zaino for example), right towels (microfiber), right washing/drying technique (non circular movement), right polish (again, zaino).... show your baby some luv guys

move to hawaii...

or...

keep the luxury car indoors and drive a beater during the winter and cold months.

i've seen too many accidents in snow and black ice to have a luxury car as a daily driver in extreme weather. car undercarriages also take a pounding from salting.

it's cheaper to replace parts on a beater cheap honda, toyota, or whatever car you want than a luxury car...and you're going to replace parts no matter what.

would you take your swimsuit supermodel girlfriend outside in extreme cold or hot daily? i think not if you want to keep her from being b!tchy or having cracked rough skin... as legend put it, "show your baby some luv" and that "luv" will show things you haven't seen or done before

Thumbs up

I power washed my car last week in 8 degree weather. I think the windchill that day had it at just below 0.
