Default Other Small Issues.

Just got a SC300 last weekend. I have a few minor issues I wish to inquire about hoping someone can help me as I get more acquainted to the car and catch up with the maintenances.

One was in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...g-problem.html

Now the others:

1. The previous owner installed HID lights. I have a warning indicator on my dash that a light is out. All the lights work. I did find one of the plate light bulbs out and since replaced it but the light on the dash is still on. I was thinking it may be the HID lights or maybe the common taillight ground issues that older Toyotas/ Lexus' had. I have an '88 Corolla that had those taillight ground issues consistently.

2. How do I adjust the e-brake? I noticed a nut/ lock nut right under the cover of the e-brake handle with the cover off so I'm assuming that's one location. Is there another? I have a 5speed and I really can't rest assure the car will be stationary with just the e-brake without the gear being in 1st. I have to pull the e-brake pretty far up. The car also has a big brake upgrade full front and rear.

3. Keys. The previous owner only had one key, the key that has a single locl/unlock button on the side. No key ID tag. Roughly how much are keys from the dealer? And are these key chipped?

That's a few issues, minor, no biggies. I may have more as I drive each day. Overall, it is a nice and well kept SC300.
