Default Mystery warning light on the dash

- I just got a dumb question for you guys, hopefully you can help me.
My soarer has this light that just started lighting up on the dash when the car is started.
- Looks like it has something to do with the tail lights, I have checked the turn signals, brakes lights, parking lights, high beams, low beams, reverse lights and any other lights i could think off, everything works fine with no problems, its just this light that's pissing me off.

thanks for the help guys.

The older Toyotas had a similar light, but it actually had the word "Lights" above it, and if it stayed on there was something wrong with the alternator or battery.

Probably has nothing to do at all with your car.... but who knows.

it's the "Tail Light Warning Light". It's letting you know that one of your taillight bulbs is out or has a really high resistance.

thats simple. You have a taillight out, or one of your blinkers has failed. Be sure to check the 3rd (rear window) brake light as well, and if you have the led's in the spoiler, check those also. Best bet seeing as how you have already looked at them, pull each bulb and reinstall it with the car off, then turn it back on. If its still there, press the brake and pull each bulb again.

It's merely light indicator, doesn't have to be a rear. Could have a failed marker light up front. Since you are running an RHD Soarer, it's also possible the computer trips for the city lights being out also, as my IS300 does that. (but my USDM SC400 doesn't)

Thanks for the help guys so far guys, so i figured out that it my front signals lights that don't work, The hazards work, rear signals work, and the front side markers work. Just the ones on the headlights and the bottom of the bumper don't.what i have done so far.

replaced all the bulbs in the front - Nothing

replaced all turn signal fuses (engine bay and the kick panel one) - Nothing

But i did find this

Am i correct in assuming that i have to replace the broken pink fuse?

traced the wires are far back as possible - couldn't find any loose wires or broken grounds. .

I am running out of ideas on what else to check, I did a search and kept coming up with a turn signal flasher relay or something like that. Could that be the cause of the problem? I would assume no because all the other lights work, but we know what they say about assuming,

Are your turn signals operating faster than normal?

What did you do last to the car concerning lights, I always retrace my steps. What about your license plate lights?

nope they work fine, except for the fast blinking on the dash when signaling left or right. Last thing i did was turbo timer and installing the defi gauges, But the problem was there before either of the items went in

MY GOD. If anyone should know everything about that warning light, it's me. I have had that light one constantly since I changed out my tails. The light is dedicated to alerting you to any problem with the exterior lighting system. Literally check everything. Headlights, highbeams, fog lights, front turn signals, rear turn signals, brake lights, night driving lights(my biggest issue), reverse lights, and maybe the side markers. Check that they all work, every bulb. Then that annoying warning light will go away.

Also, to go the extra mile replace your fuses, and relays. I know there is one for the headlights. Do it with the car off!
