I have an issue starting that has occurred recently. When I crank the motor on my SC3, it cranks real slow before it finally starts. I don't think it's a starter related issue since there aren't any "clicks". What can this be?

My 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass did that a lot.
It could mean your starter is going out.

 

Or your battery is low, could also be a bad battery ground...

 

I'm having a similar problem with my 92 sc300. The starter would click though, after a few clicks it would start. Could. Leaking or blown dizzy o ring be the cause of not being able to start right away?

 

Change the battery that sounds like you don't have juice to start up.

 

$5 on the battery...
