If this is about the front lower control arms, I've always wondered, both shapes are totally the same, but the ones for SC's were forged iron(or something) and the ones for the Supra's were aluminum. Are they both the same strength knowing that the SC's are heavier than the Supra's?

Why swap it over, is it merely weight savings or is there something I'm missing?

Supra lca's are cast as well so just as heavy as the ones on an sc.
Bushings are a wee bit stiffer than sc though.
