retrofit a remote trunk release?
Anyone know how to install a remote trunk release on the older SCs? I've seen a car on ebay that did it. I tried asking him but he didn't answer. I tried searching....nothing.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Actually, you don't even need a good alarm. Just one with an extra channel and get a trunk pop solenoid
If you guys have an extra channel on your alarms, you might be able to hook the solenoid up to that channel. It just needs a pulse to engage.

That is a whole different question than the one you asked.
To use the one on the key, you will need to utilize a switched relay to sense you unlocking the doors TWICE. Or some other extended trigger if allowed by the key.
For the most part....this is difficult and can cause issues leaving your trunk open on occasion.
