1.5jz help max boost?
Im running a 1.5 jz swap with my stock ge block with a 1jz head and wanted to make more on the dyno how much boost can I run? I have a 255 fuel pump and 440 injectors. Apr head studs with a safc. I'm at 13psi now. Any info would help a lot thanks.
You are in Cali, which means you only have 91 octane at the pump.
This limits you quite a bit.
The boost you "Can" make is relative to:
-Static compression ratio of the engine
-Total timing at WOT
-Fuel setup
-How much boost the turbo(s) can physically make.
You didn't mention what turbo setup you are running!
In your case you are capped at:
-Fuel system is good for around 420HP to the wheels
-You can make around 16-18 degrees timing safely on 91 octane
-The Stock ECU has a boost cut function, so either way you can only get to 18 psi before it cuts fuel off.

With my downpipe, I would regularly hit boost cut in high gears if it was less than ~60 degrees outside. The slightest airflow mods could put you over the edge so you will need to find a way around boost cut.
Not sure how much more headroom you gave yourself with 440's
