I almost got into a silver 1986 Z31 non-turbo before I bought my SC. The car was going to be free so I was looking into 3.3L+turbo+5-speed swaps but the seller did not tell me that the title was not in her name so she couldn't just gift the car to me anyway.
Oh well much happier to be in a far more modern car with an even bigger following. Those early ZX's are like the black sheep of the Z family.
What's done to that Z31?

I love the way those VG30's and VG33's sound in the higher RPMs. Very different from our frantic inline 6's. They're easy to tune and work on plus they have soooo much parts interchange from newer VG's made well into the early 2000's. There's just something about the T-tops, boxy style with flip up headlights that really works for me especially when slammed on Rota RB's or other vintage style wheels.
