Default Trunk Removal

I was wondering before I tore into it how one would remove thr trunk lid. Does it unbolt at the lid or at the chassis of the car? I have an SC400 with the spoiler and an SC300 without. The cars are the exact same color. I want to swap the 400 lid to the 300...

If they are the same color unbolt at the lid, two 10mm bolts on each side and there will be a wire for the 3rd brake light you can follow back and disconnect and most likely the sc300 will have the plug to plug right into. You will probably have to loosen and tighten the bolts playing around with your trunk gap

Nice. I really appreacite that information. I'm going to go outside right now and tear into things. I'll report the situation when I return.
