WHen I bought my 300 i owner before had a spoiler put on the car but that made the trunk to heavy
for the lifters to raise or even hold the trunk open, do you guys know where i might find some fatter
lifters so that I don't have to hold the trunk open.
Thanks.

Default get SC400 lifts

i had the same problem with my SC300 after having a spoiler installed...the lifts werent strong enough and my trunk came crashing down =P. what you need to do is install some SC400 lifts which are much stronger. dont even think about going to the lexus dealer cuz they want an arm and a leg =P. i picked mine up at Pepboys, just go to the parts dept and tell them you need lifts for a SC400 with a spoiler. i had the item # laying around but i lost it. i believe they are motormite lifts and they cost about 30bux for both if i remember. after just a few minutes of installing your new lifts you wont have to worry about getting killed by your trunk lid crashing down on your skull =).
