Default Black side Pillars

..Next...the Steel is showing though in big spot on one of my side pillars......should I remove them and let the steel shine through...or cover them in the Carbon Tape stuff???
Thanks

Neither, sand, prime, sand, paint back to black. Install, don't get laughed at.

Found this in another thread at the bottom of the page...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ct-pics-2.html

I think I may do this too just to see if it looks good. If not it peels off.

Just the pillar part doesn't come off. You've got to remove the whole chunk of window trim which isn't worth it for me. I plan to hit mine with paint stripper to finish what's left on it, then re-spray black.

I would consider a wrap just for the convenience but I'm not sure if it's thick enough to hide where the paint has already come off. I don't want a lumpy pillar.

It's not that easy. It's not some thin plastic part that just pops off.
