I don't think I've ever heard of SC strut mounts going bad. I know many Toyotas have an issue (older Camrys and Avalons where you get clunking because the rubber in the strut mounts goes bad).

Why are you looking to replace them?

I was gonna refresh my whole suspension on my project car. The struts are done for along with most of the front suspension. Im planning on going with new struts and lowering springs on all 4 corners.

I finally got the car running perfect. Now its suspension time.

Coilovers are probably the best way to go.

I cheaped out like others who are kept in the dark through coilover intimidation and kept the stock mounts when I went to Tokico struts.

Factory ones should be good if you're going with shock/spring combo.

If someone made aftermarket top ( coilover like aluminum) mounts for our cars for a reasonable price I'd be all over them.
I'm looking to replace mine also, so I can get more shock travel with my gixxer drew like setup vs stock...
(no pillowball mounts though)
