Default [gauge] what does this light mean?

So... one day when I was stepping on my break on a downward facing slope, this light turned on and since then it pops out from time to time... I tried to find a pattern of it but no clue. It pops up when I'm stepping on my pedal on the freeway, or doing nothing, gear in neutral on a flat plane... It just pops out all the time. It has not been affecting my driving but I would love to know what problem might that be.
Thanks!

No. It's time to refill your oil. If the oil change light lights up, then it's time to change oil.

More like a engine change if you dont put more oil and keep running it.
Light means your low on oil, check your dip stick if your low on oil (which why the light came on) put some in.
Oil change is up too you.

i saw that light on my way to the next exit on the interstate....... needless to say i never got to the exit. It's always that "next one" you decide you need to stop at and its not for another 20 miles.

Um, well check it, if its good then the sensor might be going bad.. but usually when you turn car on all oil is sitting in the pan once you drive it sucks up oil and its getting slushed around in the engine then the level goes down and the light comes on.. but cheak it yourself with dipstick.. don't be a dipstick, use one..

That light came on for me over the holidays and it turned out to be a bad sensor. I would check the oil and if it is full then get to a mechanic to check the sensor.

Gravy bowl maybe?

Oil thins when it warms up.. Causing the light to come on. Add some oil or change it and call it a day.
