[gauge] what does this light mean?

I thought that was a picture of a lamp ---- telling you to rub your computer and go to CL.

Check you oil PRESSURE. Did you check the oil pump before you did the swap? It is an easily overlooked item. You should have an error code to go with the oil lamp indicator light coming on. Low oil pressure can ruin your engine.

Yea try changing your oil but to be safe have a mechanic you trust have a look at it.

that light is a dummy light if you see it I would recommend you not drive the car until you find out what the problem is.
Possible reasons for the light to come on

1) low to no oil pressure (essential for engine function and lubrication)

2) sensor malfunction

At your mileage there is a decent chance the sending unit is bad. Still, better to check out the oil pressure.

If you swapped your engine, you might be burnIng more oil than gas, keep checking and add oil a little at a time until that light goes away. If it keeps staying on your oil pump or oil sending unit is kaput

Actually I've been driving the car for awhile with that light on... I'm not driving it anymore thou
It first lighted when I was breaking on a downward slope for awhile... After that it turns on from time to time.

Why would swapping in an engine causing that?

OIL LEVEL SENSOR= IF YOU ARE A LITTLE LOW AND ON INCLINE OR DECLINE IT WILL COME ON .. IF YOU ON FLAT LAND IT GOES OFF..MINES DOING IT NOW TO JUST ADD A LITTLE OIL...I JUST DID A CHANGE BUT I GOT THE 5 QUART BOTTLE THE CAR TAKES A LITTLE MORE THAN 5 WITH FILTER CHANGE..THATS WHY MY CAR IS DOING IT...
