In MN track time is done for the season and I took out the Supra tt seats to replace them with the heated stock barcalounger comfort seats (the request of "She who must be obeyed").
The problem ... a piece fell out and it looks like another is missing (both from the same side)
The part ... a small roller bearing shaped like a 2-3 lbs barbell
The help ... any one know if I can buy the part separately or if I need to buy the whole "truck assembley?
More help ... any one BTDT and have any advise on how to replace/fit it?
The tracks (2 each seat) each have 2 roller bearings which hold the top and bottom of the tracks apart. These roller bearings are the weight bearing parts that allow the tracks to slide while the screw, motors and gears push and pull the seat front to back.
The roller bearings have fallen out of one of the tracks. In tghe lexus manual the tracks, along witht the screw etc, are refered to as "Truck assembly"
