HELP - Boost Controller / Boost Gauge Vacuum Routing
I have a 92 sc300 with jdm 2jzgte FMIC and full exhaust.
Running on jdm twins.
I have a profec b spec II and aem boost gauge that i need to install.
My question is, how and where do I route the vacuum lines for the boost gauge and boost controller?
I did a few searches on CL and supraforums but I'm still a bit confused as to what i SHOULD do and SHOULDN'T do.
Any info / links would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Omar

remember, the lines from WG to WG should be equal length, as well as the line from the compressors.

You want your boost gauge to read pressure and vacuum in the manifold (not the charge pipe), so basically T into any small line coming directly off the intake manifold (there are plenty to choose from).
I searched online and some say to T into the FPR vacuum line while others say not to do so. Also on
http://mkiv.com/techarticles/boostguage/bg.htm it shows to T into the boost pressure sensor vacuum line for the boost gauge. So I just want to make sure which vacuum line I SHOULD T into.
Luv2xl - Thanks for the link, that cleared things up.

I never T into the boost pressure sensor, I always leave pressure sensor directly connected to the manifold.
you can T off the fuel pressure regulator, that is fine, make sure the connection is secure.
Also there are tons of vac lines for less important things, like the ones that go to the vsv for the charcoal canister.
you want to catch these lines at the manifold though before any vsv's or stuff like that so you get the full signal.
