i was just gonna buy springs, but for the price it was worth the try as these were only a few dollars more. initial impressions look good. Cant wait to get em installed on the project. I'm curious how low they go. hopefully lower than the supra springs.

I took a look at the paperwork that came in the box. The manufacturer looks to be maxpeedingrods, http://www.maxpeedingrods.com/ ,although this part was not listed on their site. I believe they were contracted to manufacture these but not branded by maxpeedingrods themselves

Could you measure the diameter of the shock body? The threaded portion where the collars spin. I want to know if an air bag can fit over them.

They look like they can get your car pretty low, but the spring rates/dampening might not allow it.

The tein coils I had were 12/7 and they were on the softer side. As long as your wheels aren't an aggressive fit you should be able to go low.

thanks good to know.

the circumference of the front and rear shock bodys is 6 5/8". C= pi *d, diameter is 6.625/3.14 = 2.11" or 53.56 mm hope that helps

Thanks for doing the math. Those would work perfect. The air bags need a 2.14" or smaller diameter.

man, i haven't updated this in a while. the white sc is goin under the knife year and I'll share shortly. a few days ago i had the clutch fan go out. it was an ebay brand that I replaced less than three years ago. I havent really noticed as I been working second shift, no traffic and its been a little colder. i found out it failed as i was waiting for gas at Costco and the temperature gauge gradually kept creeping up! i wound up coming across the Shimahide brand clutch fan as I was shopping for the OEM one. have never heard of the brand before, but it had the same part number as OEM; just thought I'd share and I wound up giving it a try. so far so good
