For the fronts, 215/45/17 or 225/45/17.
For the rears, 235/45/17 or 255/40/17.
All depends on what look you're going for...

i personally would run
f - 235/45
r - 255/45
17's need some meat and my wheels are only .5inch wider per wheel and 18's with 20+. i run 225/40 and 245/40.... idk i dont see the need to stretch a 17 inch wheel so much because that 1 inch does look a lot smaller and the size i would go with fits the wheels nice make them not appear as small because of a stretch... im going those same widths when i get new tires
EDIT: also what tire brand are you going with? some fit diff than others

i love the stretched look. i run a 18x10 with a 235/40/18 and a 18.8.5 with a 215/40/18 and it looks great.
depends what kinda driving do you do? me i just cruise around from home to work and such.

but he has 17's they dont fill the wheel wells the greatest but they still look great mind you! also a bigger tire will bring him more towards flush with the body look wise. at +22 with those widths he is flush if hes just on lowering springs and even kinda pokin if he's stock....
all he has to do is roll his fender lips and he will have minimal finger gap if he decides to "lower lowered it"
i love the stretch and slammed look to but he didnt really give us a description so im assuming he is on stock suspension so stretch tires wouldnt look so great

Im lowered on tanabe's right now and might get some coilovers in the future. i was thinking 225/45's in front and 255/45's in the rearOriginally Posted by iridebmx

225/45 in the front will give you a nice square sidewall. But i'd definitely recommend you get 225/40s in rear as those are much closer in diameter to your fronts.

Exploreya but i dont like that stretch tire look. i was thinking 235's or 245's in the rear

Wouldn't 225/40s in the rear be a smaller diameter?Originally Posted by pieisgude

I would do 225/40 in the front and 255/35 in the rear. Sidewall should be the same height front and rear if my math is correct. A 255/40 will work as well if you want a little bit more meat.
so how about this 225/45/17 in front and 245/40/17 in rear? will that work ok???

i would go 45 series all around with 17's but thats me. yea that tire choice is a good one.
