Default Soarer and SC400 Question

I was wondering if a soarer head light would fit and work properly in my sc400. I wanted to know if i would have to do any customizing or not. I know someone had a similar post while back asking the same question but they were mixed answers and also one person said something about making a splice is needed and no one corrected him so now im confused. Any one who knows please respond to this! Thanks.

they will fit fine, the headlights are exactly the same except the cut off/dipping points. the soarer lights are designed to dip on the right side so oncoming traffic isnt blinded. sc lights dip on the left side

Q: can that not just be altered with the adjustment screws?

- Also -
you will have 9006j bulb hole for the low beam.. instead of 9006
which just means more annoyance having to shave the 9005 bulb tabs to fit.. and the soarer lights are designed for horizontal bulb filaments not axial.
which changes the beam pattern.

damn. sounds like an annoyance. i only want to grab an extra pair because im about to send my light to get a retrofit done. saw some soarer ones and wanted to get em use them for the time my lights are gone and see how they are for fun then sell them because i wont need them after my head lights are done. i guess i will do the same thing but just get the sc400 head lights instead of the soarer ones. thanks for your help.

no adjustment wont help with the dip. you will need to modify the cutoffs or replace the projectors. so for youre purposes no point at all
