Default standard audio system

does anybody know what is the standard audio/sound system for SC400s?

in my car i have a tweeter in the A pillar

is there 1 or 2 speakers in the front door?

also what size sub is located in the parcel shelf??

such an awesome sound system for stock.

much better compared to my ma70 supra which had 4" speakers in front and rear only!!!

The pillars have only tweeter, one per side. The doors have a single 4 inch, as well as the rear. You can upgrade to 6 1/2" in the door with a proper mdf made adaptor, and upgarde to 6x9 in the rear with a little cutting. The sub is a 10 inch free air.

wow 4 inch in front and rears, i thought it sounded better than 4 inches.
hhmm i should swap over them from my supra.
i had to upgrade my supra from 4 inch to 6.5 in the fronts. was a bit of an effort tho

depending on if you have pioneer or nakamichi will determine if the sub is a 8" or a 10"

nakamichi has the 10" sub since it was the premium sound system. you can tell the difference by the writing on the head unit. see picture for nakamichi writing

do urself a favor and yes remove it... lol..just incase.. i heard it was 10" i removed everything and sure as sh* T a 10 did not fit no matter what... i would have needed to put like a 3 inch spacer for it to fit.

u have to remove the back seats to get to it

this was in a 1997 sc400
