I'm green with envy! That engine will be a thing of beauty when you get it assembled... You gonna wax the engine compartment......I can see it now... Don't mind me honey, I'm just waxing my engine!
Looks like SP is doing a pretty darn good job... You said you're not doing VPC? What are you doing for fuel control?
I just got my NGK 3330s installed last night. Quite an improvement in smoothness. No detonation whatsoever. I'll have to dial up another pound or two of boost!

It looks like things are coming along, Ethan. I love the polished intake. I've never been a big fan of the aesthetics of the 2jz-ge, but that should be a nice facelift. I love the custom HKS manifold, I may try that on my 97 if I keep the 2jz-ge
Scott, since he is getting a crank trigger made, I'd say he is going to stand alone engine management, maybe Speed-Pro??

I live in Ft. Wayne Indiana (why? I don't really know, its cheap) anyway, no one around here wants to touch my car with modifications. So I'm learning & will buy a shop manual.
I've searched for turbo units, forced air induction blah blah blah on the net without success.
Where do you get the parts for your SC300 5speeds?

Indiana is not far from SP, which is the shop doing my car. Send Larry and e-mail at: xxsupraxx@aol.com
They are located in Chicago... most of the stuff going on my car right now is custom, but there are some parts that you could buy normally to go turbo.... Toyomoto and F-Max both make turbo kits.

I wonder, I've emailed this shop and am awaiting an answer. Check out the pics of my SC300 on my new site (I've also got pics of my poor SC400 which met an unfortunate fate....)

Well, I don't know an exact price yet since it isn't done, but I am expecting it to be between $20-$25k (probably closer to $25k, but $20k would be nice
)...
It adds up fast... $4k tranny, $2k manifold, $800 Wastegate, $1200 turbo, $3k engine management, $2500 fuel, etc., etc.
When I get the bill I will scan a copy of it, so you guys can laugh at how ridiculous it is
