My tilt steering works but with the auto mode set it tilts away just fine but when I put the key back in the ignition it tilts down into the memorized position but only comes back half way instead of all the way back. What could be causing this and where is the memory unit for the steering wheel? Is it the same as the memory unit for the seat?

 

Im sure the memory buttons records the seat and steeringwheel position. Well at least mine does anyways lol.

 

yeah could be memory setting or your telescope motor is starting to go out. you dont want to know how much it is to replace trust me..

 

Alot of work I must say.. Try to set the memory with the steering wheel in the correct riding positon and post back your findings.
