I wouldnt, because going 5 or 6 speed easier than engine swap for more hp.
I believe that every sc300 owner wether manual or auto is wanting more power either from a turbo or a v8(trust me when I say that, I was there before) and most of the v8 guys 98+ just want manual.
I wouldnt mind having a sc300 along with my 400, so I can have best of both wolds, but to be honest, I have an inline 6 in my land cruiser that I plan on turboing in a future just for gigles
, so I do have the best of both worlds
