Default VIN Info

Was curious to see how to decode a VIN for a SC300. More specifically if it is factory manual or auto tranny. Wasn't able to find anything on search other than "door jam" which doesn't help if the car has been painted.

Thanks!!!

That is not necessarily in the VIN. If you were to call the dealer... they could tell you possibly

That one seemed to work. It says 4 speed manual, not 5 speed, but manual none the less.

Thanks!!!!

If you register your car here: https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...nTsh!-76584732, you can check out the records on your car. I'm not sure exactly if it'll show the exact specifications on your car, but it is free.

You can also register for Lexus drivers (official lexus site) and the vin will tell you info about your car, service history, etc....
