CD Player
I just bought a 1992 SC400, with 76k miles on it.
It is in apparent excellent condition, and was fully inspected. Then only problem is the CD player.
After a minute or so of playing a song, it will start shorting-out for a second or two, and then get worse -- more frequently and longer. There is no problem with the radio.
I tried to seach the forum for CD-player issues but found nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm guessing this is the trunk mounted cd changer. Is it shorting out like electrical arcing or is the cd skipping ? Do you hear crackling or popping in the speakers ? Does the display blink or flash or go blank ? The more details the better.
