Anyone running gold wheels on there sandstone beige SC's? I'm really thinking about gold wheels but I'd like a few opinions.

 

I foind this on google ut personally gold;black; and gun metal dont go well with sandstone. It's either silver, or chrome. Sandstone comes off as a classy color not a sporty one

I seen that thread. I also only seen 1 sand stone with gold wheels. All I asked for was opinions. Trust, i used the search button daily on CL.

 

I have a sandstone beige SC, and I'm rocking the 97+ chrome 5 stars, but will probably switch to some silver 18's in the near future. I personally agree that only chrome and silver look good on this color. Gold on gold is a lot of f'n gold, man! And think about this: if you do for some reason want to go gold on gold, the rim must be color matched to the car or you will have two different shades of gold, and it will look super crappy, guaranteed.

 

well i agree that gold wheels on gold car might not work due to too much gold but there have been many things on here that i wouldnt of thought looked good until someone actually did it.

You never know a gold theme sc might just work .

You have to jump in head first on this one, at the very leat you will have a very rare and original sc.

I say go for it.

While your at it change your emblems to the gold ones as well.

Try it out. It may turn out to be a very good looking combo. I'm with 1Willy1, people make things look good on here that I thought would be terrible.

I have a sandstone beige sc and although i am not looking into gold wheels(i have 20 inch chromes) i am looking into changing the emblems to gold.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. With SBM, there are two wheel options:
1) silver
2) all black (no polished lips)

Old-man-tan is a finicky color.
