Default Ls400 brakes worthwhile?

there is an LS400 at the local pull a part and what curious as to if converting the brakes on my 92 sc400 to them is worth it? what all do I need?

also while im there is there any parts off of it that are common to go out that I should grab off of it?

Oh, you will need wheels to clear the bigger calipers as well.

^, even though you have 18's, the offset may not allow the spokes to clear the calipers. Hopefully it clears, worst case a set of spacers should do the trick.

That all depends on whether they are concave, convex, have large lip, etc. They could be negative offset and still not fit.

When you say bigger wheels, would a 17x8 rim be too small?

^, not necessarily bigger wheels but better spoke clearance. I've gotten 16" wheels to fit, tight clearances but they fit.
