I won't lie: I'm on a budget so I can't just drop coin to try something out, but kudos to you for doing that. Also, keep in mind that you can switch over the lenses from the ebay lights to your oem housings. there are multiple people on here who have done it with great success so its not all wasted money!

EDIT: nevermind, i saw that you are sending them back...

exact experience I had with them. I decided to keep mine 'temporarily' until i could finish my retrofit but between getting laid off and trying to finish up school 'temporary' has turned into 2 years. I'm finally out of school and working on the retrofit again so i can get rid of these pieces of crap.

Thanks for the report, I too was weighing these as an option....but I would rather attempt to repair my current lights instead.

Yeah I had these on my soarer when it arrived from japan... And yes you guys were right. They look worse on pics than they do in real life.. That's not saying they look good in person though.. Nooooo no. They just look garbage in pics and real life looks crap haha

Is this seriously another thread about these though REALLY... Haha. But put it this way. When my car got delivered first night I spent pulling these ones out and replacing them with oem high n low beams... Two weeks later and it's just in now for it's service ... That is testament to how high the removal of them was on my priorities haha

I was planning on getting them awhile ago but now I don't seem to like them at all. Also with everyones terrible experience with these Im surprised people are still buying them.

Pretty much the only way to do it under $200 is to either get lucky and get a good deal on some clear lenses or sand down the stock lenses.

Supermade or BrightX clear lenses are about $320

lol i was gonna say the same thing---when i first started coming here i never understood why everyone hated aftermarket and e bay lights so much ----i thought some of them were nice----but after being here for a while i would never get them or even look twice at them-----the overall experiance with them from most people is that they are crap-----fitment-quality and overall performance seems to be sub par.

agreed this is the only this i would agree with ---those clear lenses over the stock lights seems like a good clean smart upgrade---just my opinion

Search for clear lens with my name. I did the mod with other people as well on this forum. The results are worth it. Clear lens + stock housing + TSX retro = balling
