Default 18 vs 20 question

I have a chance to get a set of 18's (18x8.5 and 18x9.5), I have a body kit with 20's but which I think the car pulls off okay, but I am not a big fan of all chrome rims so, looking at this car, do you think the 18's would look good or would they be too small. The 18's look just like the ones in the third pic and have the same offset.

Not a fan of chromes either, especially in 20s, but that look you have seems to be working quite well. Like you mentioned, the fact that you have a body kit might be a problem with 18's unless you are going to really go slammed. Tough to do it seems with that kit. I'd stick to the chrome 20s and wait for something bigger/better to come along.

18" with a kit are too small. Just looks goofey. I hated the way mine looked for a long time. Only looks good slammed. not at ride height. Check the link in my sig you'll see what i mean. I just got 19" that im putting on soon. I think they will look much better.

I like 20's, just not those 20's. Go 18's with fat set up because those 20's are and the stance is a little high too.

I am not a fan either, I flew to cal and bought the car, in the pics they looked like the center spokes were brushed aluminum or gun metal so they looked good. The 20's actually look good in person size wize and the car looks much lower on them then that pic comes across. Now I am feeling like the 18's may be to small though. It would be a while before I could pull off springs or coils also. Plus, I have had a few lowered cars and it gets old after a while. I am kind of getting used to this not rubbing and scraping thing, yet the body kit brings the look down a bit. Here is a pic of the 18's 245/35s and 275/35s on 38 offset. I believe my current offset is 35 with 245/35-20s all around

Oh yeah, I assume this offsett and size will work fine, they are 5x114 but I am worried they may sit in a bit too much with the 38 offset would I need spacers or just be good to go?

depends on the width of the rim, which as you know is not the same as the width of the tire. if u have that info it would help.

Yeah, I think the size actually fits well, just not a big fan of the all chrome and I have always liked the other rims style.
