Default Difference between dried up lcd and led problems

The age old climate control problems.
Well I’ve been looking to replace my climate control (lextech, not handy enough to try myself), and I didn’t know if my actual lcd is dried up or if it is just the led or something typical. If it is a dry lcd, can lextech replace it, or should I look at buying a new one?

The symptoms are a black-like substance creeping from the right of the screen. Help please?

Yeah, you have to either replace the screen or buy a new one. PM aliga, he has some climate controls with functional screen.

I've mentioned this thread 4 times this week for climate questions so I'll just link it. CHeck the seller of these LCD's is mentioned in this thread towards the bottom and his are thicker, brighter (pass light better), and much higher quality than the second option that is out there. (I have seen two different LCD's on ebay).

so..... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...lcd-today.html

Looks like he is only getting $44 a piece for them which is STUPID CHEAP.
