Default Power Steering Hose Fix?

Hey all. Recently I've been hearing this odd whirring or growling noise coming from the engine. As much as I'd like to believe that there is a beast under the hood of my '92 SC, it turns out that my high pressure power steering hose is leaking. My local shop quoted me $600 for the repair!! I've been looking around the forums and some have suggested visiting a junkyard, but I don't want to run the risk of having to deal with the same situation some where down the road. Any suggestions?

Was it $600 for the part or part+labor? Those high pressure hoses are generally expensive..

The cheapest I've seen is $465 shipped at Sewell Lexus. Hopefully you can get hooked up without CA tax. That basically takes away any discount you get

@Gsteg, Yikes! That's still pretty pricey, but I appreciate the info
@TLDriver, thanks for the help as well

I got in touch with Aaron at Driftmotion. Let's hope he'll be able to work his magic on this one. Thanks all for the suggestions.
