Sc300 5 speed stock engine, stock (4.08) diff ,
Going to install Kazz 2wy LSD,
What if i went with 4.27 diff gearing?
Would this help the off the line performance and fun factor 0-60mph -until i can afford my engine swap ??

I know gas mileage will effected as well.

The car will feel faster yes. it will make your gears shorter. If you drift it is worth while. If you commute it is not. You kinda need to kno what yor doig fo this mod because of the shims and having to boil the ring gear to get it to slide on.

before you dish out some cash... what is your goal? is it a highway monster? or any plans with the car?

Drift and road car ..canyons and such. I am not going to swap the engine until a years time, wanting a little pep out of the stock engine until that. I dont want to waste money on NA mods that dont work, While i am installing my 2 way i thought i would try the 4.27 gearing.

cool if it's going to be NA then you are good. Remember though that it will change the RPM's on all speeds but you will notice it most on highway speeds.

Im looking for the opposite as in taller gears , i was told to get the 400's diff how true is that?

Where is best to get these parts? How much am i getting in too here$ $$
