Default Storing car 6months +??

Just found out i am leaving the country/deploying from 6months to a year. I don't really trust many people with my car in the area where i am currently located. I just wanted to know if it is possible to store my car for 6 months + without being started or driven. What do i have to do to not have it corrode/break over time while I'm gone? It is a 1jz SC w/ single turbine.

It would be nice to have a battery saver hooked up to prevent the battery from dying. I would add some fuel stabilizer to keep the gas from going bad. Seal off any large openings, a car cover would be nice; it would definitely suck to have rodents chew through any wires.

+1 also a few mothballs in the engine bay won't hurt either, learned that the hard way when a rodents ate through a few spark plug wires.

Try the link above, good writeup a member pasted in and I put in a few links as well there. For winter storage, but same applies to your application.

Come home safe.

Thanks for the link, will utilize it when the time comes. Also, appreciate for all the support! Especially, knowing that i am going to miss all the major Holidays and be stuck in the sandbox.
