Default Help My Car Is Stranded

Okay so recently I have noticed this sound coming from the front left wheel well. At low speed it was kind of a clunking sound. Yesterday the car started pulling extremely hard to one side on the way to work. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I began to hear a loud grinding/scrubbing noise. I pulled into the parking space and now I can not move it. When I put it in reverse it starts to move, makes the noise and i'm guessing whatever is making the noise stops the car in its tracks.

Please help I don't like leaving my car out of eye sight. thanks

Check out your wheel first are the studs all tight? Is it pulling to the side making the noise? could also be wheel bearing or siezed caliper, loose sway bar, tie rod, or balljoints. Just take a quick look under the car to see if anything is noticably loose. Hope you get it strait soon.

Studs are tight, no it was pulling to the side like it was temporarily extremely out of alignment, I will search about the wheel bearing, the front breaks were done a couple of months ago, and I have no clue how to check the last three. Thanks

Jack up the car and try shaking the wheel up and down and side to side. See if there
is a lot of play. If so, then your wheel bearing might be shot. If that seems ok, remove
the wheel and take a look at your rotor. If it had deep scores like it was engraved by a
router, then your caliper might have siezed. If that looks normal, then check your control
arm. It could be a few things. If you're still stumped, try calling a mechanic friend or tow it to a trusted local indy for a quick look. Best of luck.

So the ball joint of the front left side is completely out, Hella negative camber though, do I have to buy a new LCA, can it be rebuilt, or better yet is it time for the supra tt LCA?

Yea man if the balljoint is seperated from the arm then it cannot be replaced. Good thing that this didn't happen at high speed. Maybe supra tt's would be really nice. Get the 97+ supra arms if you do they are aluminum and help reduce unsprung weight.

Okay so its at the shop now. The plan is to replace both front LCA's with the supra tt ones. The question now is should I get the energy bushings for the front. What is your idea?
