Unhappy Help on rim sizes

hey guys i need your help on this. Im in the market for wheels and im looking at 18's-20's. I was told i cant go any wider than a 7.5in rims which limits me like u know what. Is this true and what all can i run size wise and what size tire? Im going to get lowering springs to let it down about 1.5 in so itll sit just right on 18's or 19's oh yeah and what offset? Thanks so much guys

Try reading the wheel & tire specs sticky thread at the top of the forum.

That 7.5in limit makes me laugh really hard.

If anything.. 7.5 should be the bare minimum. Most people run either 8.5'' on the front and 9.5'' rear, or 9.5'' and 10.5''

I'd suggest looking for a mid twenties offset without looking too sunken and being nice to your fenders.

I have 19's and love them. I don't have a current drop but have tokico blues. The fronts are 255/40/19 and the rear is 275/35/19's. I had to roll the fenders on the rear and trim the front mud flaps to keep the original inner liner in place. The fronts are 8.5 and rear is 9.5. Good luck with your choice and I also love chrome wheels on certain colors of SC's.
