5 Axis S5- F Rim and tire Help
Hey guys, im looking at the S5- F Gunmetal rims for my IS250 (2010). Im new to the tire and rim business so i've been doing a bit of searching and hoping some of you pros can share ur knowledge.
i see alot of people get 19x8.5 (front) and 19x9.5 (back)
what does the 8.5 and 9.5 mean? i am assuming its the width?
i understand offset fairly well, bascially the lower the number, the further the wheel will stick outwards and vice versa. correct me if im wrong.
What are your opinion on the tire size i should get for the S5-F rims on IS250. RWD

yes the 8.5 and the 9.5 represent the width of the rim. Heres a link that will help you calculate offsets, and the picture that comes with it helped me really understand offsets too:

for tire sizes i would recommend a 225/35 in the front, and 265/30 in the back. Those sizes are not stretch at all and shouldn't give you any rubbing unless you lower your car.

I like those rims! Almost bought them myself. That same website also has a great tire size calculator to keep ur wheels as close to stock rolling diameter as possible. Id check that out also. Post pics when u get them!
