Default Need help finding a Bolt/ part number

One of my front passenger torque plate bolts recently removed itself while I was driving, and I need to find a replacement. If anybody has a spare one, or can give me a part # to take to the dealer, it would be much appreciated! The bolt is one of the 2 circled in red in the attached pic.

I assume it came loose, or whoever did the front rotors last screwed it up, I haven't changed them since I got the car last year. I was just coming to a stop from about 45 in traffic, and boom, the whole bracket flipped out and started grinding on the wheel. I limped it home using the e-brake, and now am trying to fix it. I guess I will call a stealership this afternoon if I have no other luck.

I went to my local ACE hardware, the problem is its almost impossible to find a M12 bolt with the fine threads I need, think its a M12x1.25. All ace has in 10.9 M12 is 1.75.

Yep, it's a b****, but you know you'll spend X hours of your time running down a stupid bolt to save a few bucks from the high price a dealer will charge; end of the day... the dealer's cheaper

Well after finding not one online bolt store that carried the correct size, I drove to the nearest Lexus dealership to get what the parts guy 'thinks' is the right bolt. Looks too short to me, but I'm going to try it, and if not, I'm getting my $8 back.

8 dollars for a bolt?!?!??!?!

dont you know anyone that works at toyota or lexus that can buy it for you?

if you get that same bolt off a supra it would be half the price and most likely in stock since its a very common part across a lot of toyota models.

hell at that price go to a junk yard and take one off. i dont think they would even charge you for it and just let you walk out lol

well the closest junkyard that has an sc or supra is like an hour away, so gas would be more than 8 bucks lol...

In any case, the bolt worked just fine. i do have a hookup at a toyota dealership, but its not local, and i didnt want to pay to ship one bolt. they are getting me a set of supra LCA's for 20% off tho!
