i have 94 sc300 that im going to replace the clutch on with an OEM exedy clutch kit.Never done it before but just wanted to know any tips and any special tools needed.

I would suggest that you have air, swivel sockets, and extensiots to get bolts hard to piut your gun in and xcreativity in getting to the bolts you need to remove...

 

removal of the trans is pretty straightforward, one thing im going to recommend is some long extensions to get to the bolts that are on top of the transmission. Also a set of 12-point sockets to remove the flywheel bolts (dont remember what size) and some of the bolts that hold the clutch in if im not mistaken. good luck

 

only the bolts for the flywheel are 12 point. Either 15 or 17mm, i forget.

Also, get a friend who knows what he's doing. Always good to have a reference and an extra hand.

 

right, sorry ... hondas has 10mm 12 point bolts holding the clutch in.

well i tried to do my clutch today and epic fail.i got swivels,impact gun and i couldnt break the bolts off the drive shaft/diff for the life of me....very disappionted in myself
