I have 3k yellow HID's. IMO, they're kind of pale yellow. Probably great for fog/night driving, but if I were to do it again, I'd go to a more yellow temp.

if you want to avoid ticket central i would either get yellow or blue. but if u go blue i would have it match your h.i.d lights

6k hid low with yellow h3 bulbs fog

6k hid low with 3k hid fog

or you can put yellow overlays on 6k hid fog so if you get bored of yellow just pull them off so you get white again! =)

^my current setup

opinion each person likes a different light setup. remember tho..

FOG LIGHTS = Amber/yellow light is less reflective than white light thus greatly reducing the amount of glare in extreme fog, rainy, or snowy conditons.

white lows and yellow fogs are pretty known to be for lexus cars, however everyone copying that style even to hondas.. i been thinking of going to just
6k top and 6k fogs due to being bored and everyone copying it

i would do yellow. It give some contrast and I like the foglights to actually have some function when it rains or is foggy out.

The yellow fog lights isnt just for show. Yellow light penetrates fog/heavy rain better than warm or pure white, and blue for that matter and doesnt reflect near as much. so I say 3000k Yellow for best overall performance in rain/fog and they have the best appearance IMO when paired with 6/8k low beams
