Default Driver Windows Stuck down

I believe my window is off the track?

My driver window has always worked to full speed but for some reason today I rolled it down and it never rolled back up. I hear the motor going as if it worked. I did some searches and apparently there is this small plastic piece I could jb weld to fix?

How do I check to see if its that piece? Do I need to take off my upper window trim?

Or how do I just check to see whats my problem? What do I need to take off to get to it?'

Thanks,
Nick

nfordhk, The steps you need to take to for a possible visual of the broken part? You are going to have to pull off the plastic for visual.

My 92 SC400 has the exact same problem. Any solution yet?

I had just finished working on a repair for my own window, it's been working fine for me since.

By the way, did you get your window up in the end? Mine broke at work, and it was raining (of course). I got it back up by sliding a nice sticky piece of aluminum duct tape in and sticking it to the glass, then pulling up on the tape until it raised enough to grab the glass with my fingers and slide it back up. Once it was up, I used the power window switch to slide the cable back up and it kept the window closed.
