you could also get a drift **** so that you dont have to press the button to release the ebrake.

Actually you want the good tires with grip in the front not the rear. BUt same concept...You bring all the extra tires for the rear for when they blow.....

Looks like you def know what your talking about.

Im getting the Manual transmission, im not sure yet on exactly all i need to do the swap....

WHat coilovers in your opinion are the best? I was goingto go with Tein coilovers.

Look into a set of stance coils. Cheaper than the mid-high end teins, but should perform as well if not better. Ive had a set on my car for the past year with no complaints or probs.

you should scan through the drifting section on here.

and yeah, there are better coilovers for drifting out there than teins.

Hydrolic ebrakes are helpful, but not necessary.

Maybe for powersliding, ebrakes are necessary for drifting.

The best? Something like KW Variant, Aragosta... Brands like Stance and Tein will definitely do the job though.

I didn't even know there was a drifting section on here... Thanks, haha.

All very good input and thank you everyone! i went down to a local car part store, its like a thrift shop but they sell used and new stuff, bought a momo steering wheel for $20.00, then the hydraulic shifter for $15.00, now im looking at some Adjustable Coilovers for about 550....they are used alot here and TEIN is VERY popular here with HKS. i will look into them all though.....

PBM's are yummy. You can tighten the stock parking brake enough to lock up. With a good diff I think my SC is easier to slide than my S14. (But I did have a laggy SR in it...)

Like ill said, most important stuff in order:

1. Diff
2. Clutch
3. Alignment/Suspension
4. Seat ( Stock SC couches suck for holding you in)
5. *****

Drifting is changing in the states. It used to be how you described but it's turning into something different.

Definitely the most fun I've had in a car, but I havn't rallied yet.

Hey 1JZ300, good to see you back man, glad you kick some *** in Japan. Good luck with that drifting thing, I'm busy enough swerving out of old lady's way and dodging deer.

Power steering cooler. especially if you have large wheels up front.

But to start out really, a diff and a seat. It is even possilbe to slide an automatic just a bit harder

I plan on going with some Tein Basic Coilovers, or possibly some Tanabe. what do you think???

Also what did you mean by its changing, into what?

How important is the 2-way diff when drifting???

I plan on getting a seat, i need to find one to in, i tried out about 4 but they were all two small, my legs and my shoulders dont fit in the, im not a small guy haha
