Default Map ECU 2 or Emanage Ultimate?

Before I did the 1JZ swap I was learning alot about how to go speed density with the GE ecu. Specifically the air meter. Its a Karmen vortex and runs off of Hz not volts. Check out the DSM site's jsut google Emanage ultimate and 300GT. They have a ton of experience with it.

That is exactly what the MAP-ECU was designed for. I forgot which was said to work better with OBD1 but if you have a good tuner that knows the MAP-ECU then you are good to go.

There is a injector harness and a ignition chip but I am not 100% you need the ignition chip. I can sell you my injector harness for cheap as I dont need it on the 1JZ. And the universal harness. I bought a soarer specific harness. Its the 2.5 meter harness. Let me know man. Hit me with a PM.

after some hard thinking i'm probably gonna end up getting the map ecu 2 b/c there's a shop (RLZ) not to far from me that has experience w/ the map ecu 2. he also recommends the map ecu 2 over the emanage ultimate plus he has it on his tt supra.

Definitely go with something they can tune or have the most experience with. No since in being the guinea pig, with a blown motor.

EMU does boost cut. So thats a yes for both doing boost cut.
