Default 1jz map sensor location?

after removing a lot of stuff and taking my engine apart (harness out) to clean and replace stuff - I don't recall seeing a Map sensor included w/ my Swap.

Where is this sensor normally mounted (body on intake mani/on the soarer or supra for that matter)

Company (torontojdm/totaljdm) does not really recall if its on the body of not.

Please show me a pic of where it should be-or is it normally seperated like the ECU and Ignitor comes?

btw: there is a small VSV,it looks like that mounts on the underside of the intake mani..though I think thats the Charcoal canister Switch valve that may not be needed.

Its supposed to be on the back of the intake manifold. Right where the first "w" is on my sig.

WEIRD.

I swear the only thing i removed that even looked like a Map sensor was that VSV.I swear they didn't include it.Now they are Saying if it was on the body of the car It may not have been part of the swap (Stupid) but if its attached then I don't have it in my Box of sensors.

So far totaljdm.com is not working out - Turbos blown (i think),No pwr Steer res,No Coil pack cover but everything else is Gravy including the Cusco Clutch

The 1j map sensor clips on a bracket that is bolted to the firewall. The bracket is held with one 10mm bolt.

sons 'a *****es - Thats what I was thinking.

Well on their website on all complete swaps they state: "ALL Factory Sensors" included.called them and spoke to them and he'd asked where it was located and I wasn't quite sure on the Soarer - But MKIV i wanna say was on the Mani.

Well This is like forgetting the damn ECU as far as I'm concerned. And More expensive than an ECU.

Thanks!

in the same boat as u right now , best suggestion is to scour Ebay or one of the many other forums (Supraforums, Supramania, NA-T) to look for one. the one off a turbo 2JZ will work.

Where did you get it from? Mine was just hanging on a vacuum line folded over the intake mani.
