Did some ducting on the radiator and finished up the alignment, car runs and dries, slight break up under boost but its probably tune related.

car is running amazingly cool, after 3-4 pulls temps are reading right at 162-167 driving, when I stop and sit in one location for a long time they get to 174 which is to be expected with this setup.

She is pretty much ready to drive next sunday at the event!

So I know I havent posted all that much but the car runs awesome when its not killing alternators. radiator setup is very efficient, maby to efficient. My temps when crusing 60 mph ish is around 158-160 and at a stop 168 ish.

my guess is that 2 bosch 044, 1 walbro 255, electric water pump, dual electric efans, DLI, and high RPM's is just to much for the stock 2jz-GE alternator to handle. I ordered a replacement 175AMP alternator from Mechman but it died after 5 miles I think due to a ground issue since they painted the case instead of bead blasting it so it couldn't ground to the engine.

hmmm, sounds like something is up with the charging system. The OEM alternator can handle all that just fine...

we need more info on that electric water pump

Honestly the car is just to built for the street and its to much of a chore to drive the car or do anything with it.

Well that and I want to find a jzx100 chaser.

I'm going to do a road course event this month but ill probably start the part out after that.
