car was on the dyno a few days ago with no luck. everything was fine, boost was good but for what ever reason the car is some kinda limiter that the car is hitting at 4700 RPM. regardless of what we do we cant get it to go away. we turned off the 2 step, checked the rev limiter, made sure the boost safety was raised but its still happening. I changed coil packs, sparkplugs, ignitor. I personally think that its a limiter in the ECU because its not boost related its rpm. even at idle it will hit it like a 2 step

anywhays heres a sound clip. sorry its on photobucket.

Sounds good with those bumpy cams and exhaust Good luck getting the limiter issue ironed out.

So I literally think this is the post everyone has been waiting for... cam sensor is fixed and car hit the dyno today on high boost the car did 600 wheel and 654 TQ before 3700 RPM. sadly the turbo is outta steam which is shown by the torque numbers being higher than the hp and the wastegate seems to have issues controlling the power at that level so I need to start looking at twin wastegates.

anyways no video from the run since I wasn't there however my buddy captured it for me and should be sending me the video soon.

here are some photos of the new catch can setup. if you want any help making your guys setup like my contact the boys at Slowmotion Motorsports.

Cars quarters get finished up tomorrow and then it can come back to my place for final adjustments on the ride higth and then to alignment which will end at hanging body panels! hopefully soon ill get on to the track for a shake down run or two

Very nice! Those are some really massive numbers down low, especially for how much cam you have. Congrats

yours will probably be quite a bit less than mine because my head built and my motor is a 1.5jz running e85. My 35r is a custom setup as well to get it the extra spool I wanted for my setup. all in all im super happy that the car did the numbers it did it went exactly as I planned it would.

True. Mine is still a 2.5 liter. I'm only gunning for 500hp. Still its good to see a GT35r making good power.
